Closer to You:
     A Closer Sense of You

In line with its dedication to offer hi-tech solutions and guarantee customer satisfaction, MobileCom launched in 2005 several hi-tech and telecommunication offers that are exceptional in terms of technology, price orientation and quality, in addition to being tailored to the specific needs of society's various segments. MobileCom also strove to increase its capacity as part of the national numbering plan, and reduced international call tariffs on all its prepaid offers. For its part, Jordan Telecom launched a new denomination of its "Weinak?" Prepaid Card that is suited to all income groups in society.

Services
By the end of 2005, a JD 2 "Weinak?" card was launched, thereby becoming the most flexible card in the market. "Weinak?" Jordan Telecom's prepaid calling card is a user-friendly high-quality card that enables customers to make calls from fixed-line phones without billing the line from which the call was made. "Weinak"? is valid for a whole year from the date of the first call.

Mobile TV allows MobileCom subscribers to download programs from local and satellite channels via mobile phones and then watch them as though they were watching TV.

MobileCom's new technology, Push E-mail, connects the personal e-mail directly with the subscriber’s mobile phone. This is a flexible service that gives users total control over their e-mails through their mobile phones; and an effective one that allows users to send e-mails, along with their attachments, to mobile phones.

"Dandanah" service gives MobileCom subscribers the chance to distinguish themselves and add a personal touch by replacing the classic ringtones with more cheerful ones. Subscribers can choose a ringtone from a number of Arabic and foreign songs, or parts of comedies or musical pieces, which makes waiting for the person to answer the phone fun.

MobileCom also launched during 2005 new and unique services such as the Balance Transfer service among prepaid card subscribers, the mobile stock exchange service to enable subscribers to follow and view Amman Stock Exchange dealings through their handsets.

Offers
During 2005, MobileCom re-launched several of its offers, such as Smart, Club and Plus, in a new look and with additional benefits. Moreover, the company reduced international call tariffs for all prepaid offers, in addition to launching new tariff offers, such as the Friends and Family offer, Inside Campus Tariff offer, as well as other seasonal offers like the Summer offer.

At the same time, Jordan Telecom reduced calling tariffs on the "Weinak?" cards more than once in 2005 (in March, June and September); reduced seasonal international tariffs for some destinations, such as Egypt, Indonesia and the United States; and introduced a "Weinak?" promotion at the end of 2005 (Buy an JD 8 card and get one JD 3 card for free).
